Louis Vuitton invented the art of travelling in style and keeps reinventing it for the last decades. In April 2013 they have outdone themselves with the limited edition deluxe collection Objects Nomades, premiered at the Milan International Furniture Salon.

You would never be able to guess what’s hiding inside these beautiful LV labeled boxes and folds. And when you do open them you’ll discover the amazing designs of 16 surprising objects, all both practical and exquisite.

Thirteen designers of different cultural background were commissioned by Louis Vuitton to create luxurious travel objects such as hammocks, lamps, cabinets, tables and chairs. The result is astonishing.

The beautiful hammock is designed by Atelier Oi. The avant-garde desk for a nomad writer is designed by Christian Liaigre. Now just picture yourself on a beach in the Caribbean islands, laying in the shadow of two coconut trees and enjoying a Tiramisu La Strada Cup…

The Voyage Cabinet designed by the Campana brothers is made out of recycled LV leather stripes. It looks just like a fruit hanging from a tree.

Only some of the 16 designs will be produced, but the ones that will should be available for sale in six LV stores: Tokyo, Singapore, Taipei, London, Paris and New York.
