Aw, champagne, the drink of Gods! Or was it nectar? Anyway, with the recently launched champagne holder Enchanting Tree, we are pretty sure the Gods have already ordered online an entire box of Perrier-Jouet! Because we, the La Strada ice cream team, know exactly how important is the standout packaging, especially if the content is top-quality!

Actually, to call the Enchanting Tree a bottle holder is such an understatement! Dutch designer Tord Boontje created an amazing sparkling experience, a mixture of theatrical and poetical elements set to enhance the gesture of tasting the unique Perrier-Jouets Belle Epoque Cuvee.

The Enchanting Tree has golden forged steel branches arched so that they can embrace six champagne anemone encrusted glasses (the symbol of Perrier Jouet). At the base of the tree we have the ice bucket, as a reminder of traditional way to keep champagne cool. The glasses can be filled while in the tree, then picked up and emptied by the lucky tasters.

The Enchanting Tree was presented to the press and the public on March 22 2013, when it was exposed at the famous Saatchi Gallery in London. This is not the first time Perrier Jouet has worked closely with designer. In July 2012, they unveiled the Belle Epoque Florale Limited Edition by Makoto Azuma.
